About product specifications

I want to take out the signal from the quantity detection sensor of the NJ-80 type hopper.

The quantity sensor of the NJ-80/SR80 type senses the remaining quantity of screws in the screw feeder. It does not take external output. Also, it is not possible to attach a residual quantity detection sensor for the hopper itself to the NJ-80/SR-80.

I want to take out the signal from the quantity detection sensor of the T-510 type hopper.

The T-510 type has a quantity detection function inside the hopper. It can take an external output signal. Refer to the maintenance manual for details.

I want to take out the signal from the quantity detection sensor of the MHP-80 type of hopper.

For the MHP-80 type, the quantity detection sensor inside the hopper is optional.
It can take an external output signal.

I would like to know how to install a feeder when incorporating a feeder into a screw fastening system.

Where can I find the serial number?

The serial number is located on a white sticker on the bottom of the product.

I would like to use the Otake screw feeding machine outside of Japan. How do I do that?

How do I set the number of units externally in quantitative take-out models such as FM-36 and LV.

The FME-36 type and the LVE type for large screws can be set externally to reflect the number of discharges.

Is the back side of the feeder slightly higher than the front side?

The back is raised in order for the screws to feed smoothly on the straight rails.

I would like information on the specifications of the external output signal line.

With manual operations, the signal can be removed when removing the screw. With automatic equipment, the signal can be removed regardless of whether the screw is in place or not. For quantitative extraction, the screw supply completion signal can be removed. Refer to the maintenance manual.

I would like to turn the power supply unit on/off on the system side.

Allow an interval of at least 5 seconds when switching between ON/OFF. Power ON/OFF/ON intervals of less than 5 seconds can lead to malfunction.

I’m having some problems with clogging with the NJ-80 and SR-80 models.

The total length of the screw is up to 18 mm. Some screw shapes are prone to clogging. If clogging occurs, we recommend switching to a different model.

Do I need to purchase the feeder unit and rail set?

If the model number of the unit has a rail size specified, a rail set of that size is included in the unit.
If you wish to purchase a rail as a spare, please purchase a complete rail set.

With the quantity detection sensor of the OM-26R/OM-26M type, is the threshold value still set after power on/off?

Threshold settings remain.

I would like to use OM-26M / OM-26R + hopper + quantity sensors.

The hopper used for OM-26M/OM-26R for MHP-80M type is recommended. MHP-80M has a quantity detection sensor option.

Is there any information about the installation flow of LS/LV/LF/BS types?

This is a fully made-to-order product. Contact the supplier for details, as a sample screw evaluation is required in advance.
(Since a magnet is used to pick up the screw, it is assumed that the screw is magnetized).

I want to stabilize the pickup of double washer sems screws with a screw feeder for automatic machines.

Tilt-prevention specifications for screws with spring washers are available for each model. Please contact us for details.

Are there any feeders that can be used for painted screws and mech-treated products with less damage?

Paint may peel due to contact between screws and the conveyor section inherent to the unit’s mechanism. Clean the product on a daily basis.

I want to see the screw feeder have greater capacity.

Capacity can be increased up to +800CC by using hopper.

I would like to feed tapping screws.

Use of a tapping screw with a pointed tip or rough pitch may cause excessive wear. NSB, NSR, NSBI, and NSRI have special specifications for tapping screws. Contact us for details.

The tapping screws do not feed well.

Variation in tolerance may be significant. For use in a workpiece with a large tolerance variation, select a model based on the maximum diameter of the screw or bolt.

I want to use hexagon socket (CAP) bolts.

For screws with the same screw shaft diameter and screw head thickness, such as hexagon socket (CAP) bolts, standard product flow may be problematic. Special specifications are available. Contact your distributor.

Maintenance

Is it possible for the user to purchase parts for the screw feeder and replace them?

Yes, it is possible. However, if you are having trouble procuring parts, send the machine for repair through the supplier.
Note: Some parts can be replaced while others are not replaceable. Available parts can be replaced by the user.

Please tell me about the warranty period.

“The warranty is not applicable to purchases or users outside of Japan. Contact your local dealer if you have an issue with your unit. Breakage caused by:
① Mishandling of product
② Inappropriate modification of product or improper repairs
③ Force majeure as a result of natural disaster or similar
④ Issues caused by problems unrelated to the product itself, or
⑤ Consumables(brushes, motors, rails, stoppers, but guides)
and replaceable parts(brushes, rail assy/permeable board)cost and labor charges

The OM-26M/OM-26R vibration is weak even after adjustment.

Refer to the maintenance manual. If you see no improvement with adjustments, we recommend getting the product repaired.

The incidence of motor failure due to bolt lubricant is high.

Not recommended for use in oily environments.

The volume part of the feeder is damaged. I want to replace only the volume component.

In this case, the entire board is replaced.
